The Nokia N93 is a 3G Smartphone which provides the user with a DVD quality video recorder & player. The handset comes in a sleek black casing with chrome edging which enhances the keypad, screens & feature button. The handset measures 118. 2 x 55.5 x 28.2 mm & weighs 180 grams with the battery. The phone has a twist & rotating screen action which allows the user to use the screen in four different modes. The screen can work in imaging mode, viewing mode, fold open mode & fold closed mode.

The large screen provides the user with a high definition QVGA type screen with 262k colours & measures 2.4 inches. The large colour screen has an automatic brightness control & offers the user a perfectly clear & realist viewing display. The smaller screen can be viewed when the phone is in the closed position & provides a 65k colour display. The N93 is a member of the highly regarded N series designed by Nokia which include the Nokia N72, Nokia N73 & the Nokia N92.

The quality of the video feature is outstanding & the MPEG4 technology provides DVD type video quality. The user can record, play & stream video on the Nokia N93. The user can editing video & add effects using Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 software which comes complete with the phone. The user can create & edit movie style video footage which can be burnt to a DVD on their compatible personal computer & enjoy their own movie creation. The video clip feature can record for up to one hours worth of footage & the video recorder comes with an 8 x digital zoom. The user can capture video in either automatic mode, night mode, close up mode, snow or beach mode, cinema mode & old film mode. The Nokia N93 comes with a direct TV connection which the user can gain by using TV connectivity or Wireless LAN & UPnP technology.

The user can have fun capturing moments with the built in 3.2 megapixel camera which provided the user with clear & sharp looking photos. The camera comes with a 20 x digital zoom, built in flash & autofocus. The user can take snaps quickly & easily using the easy to locate camera key. The camera lens is a Carl Zeiss Optics Tessar™ lens which provides a clear & precise focusing tool for the user. The N93 comes with many useful & creative video settings which include colour tone settings, white balance settings & scene settings. The user can edit their photos on the N93 & share them with others either on the internet or by multimedia messaging service. The phone comes with a second camera which is a CIF type camera that is user for video calling which allows the user to enjoy a real face to face call on their phone.

The Smartphone comes with a Nokia Web browser with mini map feature which allows the user to connect to the Internet & search for information as the user would do on their personal computer. The users can connect to other devices using Bluetooth™ technology which provides a wireless connection to any Bluetooth™ compatible device. The user can connect using a USB cable to any USB compatible laptop, personal computer, PDA or printer.

The Nokia N93 comes with EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for Global Evolution) technology which provides a three times faster connection than GPRS. The built in EDGE technology allows the user to download bigger files & stream video faster. The Nokia N93 is a 3G phone which provides the user with a faster & multitasking efficient mobile phone. The phone comes with a tri band network with GSM & WCDMA. The user can expand the phones memory by using the MiniSD™ memory cards which expand the phones memory up to 2 Gbytes & the phone comes with 50 Mbtyes of internal memory.

The user can use Nokia XpressPrint, Nokia XpressShare & Nokia XpressTransfer to assist them with printing, sharing & transferring photos or video. The Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 software allows the user to edit video movies on a personal computer which can then be turned into a DVD movie. The Photoshop Album Starter Edition allows the user to edit & organise video or photos easily.

The user can tune into radio stations on the integrated stereo FM radio & enjoy relaxing the day away. The phone comes with a visual radio feature which will provide a display of information which is sent directly from the radio station. The visual radio information can provide details of the current song being played by the radio station, news information, sporting highlights & scores. The user will always feel fully up dated with all that is going on with the visual radio feature.

The music player can play music in many popular music formats & is a fun & entertaining feature. The phone comes with MP3, polyphonic & talking ringtones which the user can change daily to suit their mood. The N93 has a playlist feature which allows the user to amend & update playlists easily & the equalizer can also be set to gain the perfect sound from the phones speakers. The phone comes complete with stereo speakers & a stereo headset for when the user wants to have a private listening experience. The Nokia Music Manager allows the user to rip a CD & transfer music onto the N93 with one simple click of a button.

The Nokia N93 comes with voice features which include voice recorder, voice commands & dialling. The handsfree speaker feature can be useful when the user is needing the use of their hands but still wants to take a call. The user can have a conversation over the phones speaker system & the users voice will be picked up by the phones integrated microphone. The N93 comes with a push to talk call feature & a conference call feature which are both user friendly & a great way to talk to a group of contacts. The user can save, edit & delete information from the contacts details address book & use features such as the calendar, notes feature, clock, to do list, converter & calculator.

The phone comes with text messaging, multimedia messaging, picture messaging, instant messaging & email. The user can create, send & receive multimedia messages (MMS) which contain text & sound with images or video clips. The email service supports SMTP, IMAP4 & POP3 & the user can attach files or receive files via the email service. The text message service comes with predictive text input method & a text (SMS) message distribution list. The instant messaging service works like an online chat & a message can only be sent or received between contacts whom are online at the same time as each other.
